I received an email with images of an absolutely gorgeous Cadillac Escalade ESV recently. Outfitted by Becker Automotive Design, Inc., a company that creates custom limousines and coaches, the Escalade features beautiful Strut upgrades (note the shiny grille) and an impressive A/V system.
Geared towards keeping occupants entertained and connected while on the road, the luxurious Escalade ESV has an onboard computer system, broadband Internet connection and printing/scanning capabilities. The system boots up when the ignition key is turned and shuts down when the key is removed.
A custom Creston touchscreen using proprietary Becker Automotive design software runs the entertainment system, which plays satellite HDTV, DVDs and iPod sources on the flat-screen TV. The sound system (see the system diagram) includes Alpine, JL Audio, LG and Dynaudio gear.
I’m not crazy about megalithic vehicles that guzzle up gas, but I certainly appreciate a well-appointed system.
