This past weekend I went up to the mountains to get away from it all. Fresh air, tall trees, and… lots of classic cars! It just so happens that the weekend I wanted to go camping coincided with the Shaver Lake car show.
So, when I stopped by the local chamber of commerce to pick up some trail maps, I also checked out the rides in the parking lot. Even way up in the Sierras of California there are plenty of car enthusiasts to be found. Most of the owners, I can only assume, didn’t hail from the tiny town of 1,750.
