Audiophiles all pursue realistic sound. We may pump an obscene amount of money into our sound systems at home and in the car, but nothing can compare to listening to live music. All the CA&E staffers love music and what we listen to can vary extensively (I’m a bluegrass, opera, classical, jazz, country, hip-hop, indie rock, folk, Indian, the-list-goes-on kind of gal, myself).
For others who can truly say, “I like all kinds of music,” an event like Enterprise, Alabama’s BamaJam Music & Art’s Festival, is truly enticing. According to the press release, “the 2-day/3-night extravaganza will cater to music enthusiasts with a taste for something a la Bama different.”
A little cheesy, but it’s certainly different, with 30 acts from Country, Classic Rock, Alternative and Bluegrass, including Hank Williams, Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ-Top.
The festival takes place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 5 – 7, 2008 at Boy Scout Road and Highway #167. For more info or to purchase tickets visit www.bamajammusicfestival.com or call 877.4BAMAJAM.
