If you liked the Range Rover we featured in last year’s February issue, you’ll be happy to know the owner, Ryan Sheckler, has donated it to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF). The donor who raises the most funds for their annual 5k RUN/Walk on April 27th will win it. (You also will win 2 tickets to Los Angeles, accommodations and transportation to the event.)
The truck is equipped with four 12” Solo-Baric L7 subwoofers, two 1,250-watt Kicker sub amplifiers, two more 4-channel amps, five immaculate SS Component Systems, and two pairs of 8” SS-Series midbass drivers.
The CCRF provides national support for clinical research in pediatric cancer, while improving the medical environment for all children. To fundraise, you create a page linked to Ryan’s website where you can then email prospective donors. If you don’t have regular computer access, you can also download forms and mail them in, but you have to get them in the mail by April 10, 2008.
