Does your box rock? Or rather, can you build a box that rocks? Bassforms, a vehicle-specific sub enclosure manufacturer, wants to know what you can do and is awarding over $3,500 in prize money to find out.
The “Does Your Box Rock” competition challenges you to build the loudest subwoofer enclosure that looks good too. Contestants have to create a box specific to one of the rides listed below or a “Universal Fiberglass Enclosure Whose Overall Dimensions Must Fit Inside Most Mid-Size trunks and SUVs.”
•2008 Lexus IS 350
•2008 Audi A3
•2008 Audi A4/S4
•2008 GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab or Crew Cab
•2008 Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Tahoe - behind factory panel
•2008 Infinity G35 Coupe or Sedan
•2008 Nissan Altima Coupe or Sedan
•2008 Honda Accord Coupe or Sedan
•2008 Mazda RX8
•2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee
It sounds simple enough, but if you read the rules (see below), all boxes that get sent in as part of the top 20 become Bassforms property. Hmm… sounds like Bassforms is getting some free box design ideas. But, if you come out in the top three, you can come home with some cash at least!

Rules and Regulations
All boxes submitted to Bassforms become Bassforms Property
All boxes must be designed and perform to the following Bassforms parameters:
•Drop in, plug-and-play without any modifications to the vehicle whatsoever
•Boxes may be sealed or ported.
•Digital images of all box entries must be submitted via email to: annie@bassforms.com
•A minimum seven (7) digital images must be submitted:
1) Inside the Vehicle
2) Outside the Vehicle
3) Top View
4) Front View
5) Back View
6) Side View
7) Bottom View
•Deadline for submissions is 5:00PM PST March 15, 2008
•The top 20 boxes will have to be shipped by contestant (at Bassforms' expense) to:

•Winners will be announced March 30 before the Bikini Contest during Spring Break Nationals
