What's portable, expensive and all-too-easy to steal? According to an article today in The Baltimore Sun, it's our favorite little nav units. It's such a hassle to pull the gizmos off your dash whenever you park, but the rising number of thefts has gotten me in the habit of undocking.
Here's a question to any criminal types reading, what about the dock? If you see a plastic something suction-capped to the windshield, are you more likely to break into the car and start rummaging around, even if the pricey nav unit is not in sight?
